It's that time for a break, a vacation, to take a trip, or to travel the world... the intermission. Taking an intermission can be overwhelming, especially when you're going to travel and haven’t done something like this before, where you want to go, the Length of your trip or down time, to travel Solo (intermission can also be merely getting away from those in your circle), the Costs, the planning, lyons tigers and bears Oh My! At least start with defining the type of intermission, then defining where you want to go, as that sets a goal to work toward. A lot of people talk vaguely about travel or going away. They never say where they are going, just that they are going. Picking a destination is important, as it gives you a definite goal, even if festivals and celebrations are the first things you can think of. People gather far and wide within their own countries and internationally to enjoy several traditions, vacations, barbecues, picnics and days at the beach, those are also intermissions. Most of us if not all of us loves intermissions, because it is the best time to go on that vacation, attend festivals, spend time near the sea, sunbathing, doing some sports outdoors, spending time with family and friends or time alone. Especially now, we need a healthy intermission, the pandemic has kept us cooped up, messed up and stuck up, away from our favorite people and places.
There's many things to do for that intermission, going to a movie theater, travel, road trips, attend festivals and celebrations to name a few. Movie season is off to a great start with the release of two new films: A Quite Place 2 and Cruella. That's just about as good as it can get considering the circumstances. Although nearly all of AMC's theaters have reopened in the U.S. (closed due to the pandemic) and gaining momentum day by day, still, not at full capacity as some restrictions still remain, adhering to the CDC recommendations (during the time of this article). The United State’s Independence Day is July 4th, another intermission. Americans spend the day enjoying barbecues, bonfires, and red, white, and blue colors decorating absolutely everything which is of course to match the American flag. Road tripping in the USA is another intermission, depending on the time of year, Florida with its tropical weather and Bike Trail Breweries are tons of fun. In the fall, visit New York City and explore Central Park, also tour the different U.S. states as the leaves change color (definitely a Hallmark moment). During the winter a number of cities are visually beautiful when they decorate for the holidays, and this can be a really awesome trip to take. Whatever the intermission might be, please enjoy it, and if traveling, check out the NomadMania (used by many travellers) that encourage travel, assist travellers in keeping track of their travels and provide ideas and inspiration of what to see.
